One of Africa’s most influential investors, Vusi is a General Partner of Watermark Afrika Capital, a Middle Eastern-based corporate finance and advisory firm that is trusted by UAE based clients to help them discover opportunities & invest in Sub-Saharan Africa. Watermark facilitates transactions in retail, manufacturing, commodities trading, fintech, banking & healthcare.

Mr. Thembekwayo is a serial global entrepreneur, venture capitalist and business mogul, and an investor in Africa’s premier emerging technology accelerator Lion Cage as well as founder, CEO and shareholder of private equity firm VUKA Capital, which manages a series of private equity funds across various categories. He became famous as a dragon investor on the popular Dragon’s Den African edition in 2014.

Adrian Ciesielski

Strategic Communication, Marketing, Sales, Advertising & New Media.

Adrian is a sales and operations veteran with over 10 years of experience working in Africa. He has a deep understanding of the African market, and has successfully launched and managed several businesses throughout the region. Currently serving as the Regional Sales Director (East & South Africa) for Eskimi where he leads commercial teams to drive revenue and spearheads sales excellence, Adrian previously served as Commercial Director for WOWZI. He also served a stint as the Head of Marketing for MFS Africa, the largest mobile money hub in Africa, with over 170 million users connected, and growing.

Adrian also had an exciting tour of duty as the Head of Sales & Marketing in charge of the Greater Africa, a role in which he managed revenue of more than $5M and partner operations for Twitter, Snapchat, Verizon Media, and Blue Robot across 46 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Steve Ayalo

Data Management & Security, IT Assets & Infrastructure Management, Data Governance.

Steve is an erudite Software Consultant having done a stint with Micros Fidelio Novacom and has multisectoral experience including international NGO space where he markedly was a Systems Analyst with the World Vision Kenya. An experienced Information Technology professional with a demonstrated history of multisectoral work in IT and Security, Steve currently serves as the Global Senior Director of IT & Security at the Global Hotel Alliance, the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands headquartered in Dubai, UAE.

Previously, Steve worked as the Management Information System Manager at the same hotel before his elevation to the current role. He also served as the IT Manager for Kempinski Hotel’s Regional Office overseeing functions in Middle East & Africa as well as the Global Hotel Alliance, a role that was based in Dubai, UAE before moving to Rwanda where he was the IT Manager for the famed Hotel Des Mille Collines in Kigali.
